D: Dov'è l'alternatore in un'auto

Puoi trovarlo cercando una puleggia sul fronte che è collegata alla cinghia di serpentina - la lunga cintura in gomma avvolgente che è anche collegata alla puleggia dell'albero motore principale del motore.
D: Come controllare la tensione su Alternatore
1.Avviare il motore.
Mantieni le sonde sugli stessi terminali della batteria.
La tensione dovrebbe ora leggere tra 13,8 e 14,8 volt. Questa è la tensione di ricarica dell'alternatore.
2.Test sotto carico:
Con il motore in esecuzione, accendi i fari e la ventola del riscaldatore (alta velocità).
La tensione dovrebbe rimanere al di sopra di 13,0 volt. Se scende in modo significativo (nel 12V), l'alternatore è debole.
